Introduction of Compressed Air Rubber Hose
1. Basic Introduction
The compressed air rubber hose is a flexible pipe designed for the transportation of compressed air. It is made of synthetic rubber (NBR/EPDM/SBR) and a high-strength reinforcement layer. As the core transmission component of pneumatic equipment, its design takes into account pressure resistance, flexibility and durability. It is widely used in industrial scenarios with a pressure range of 0.8~2.5MPa. It is a standard configuration in factories, automobile repairs, construction sites and other fields.
2. Core Features and Advantages
High-pressure bearing capacity:
Multi-layer polyester fiber/steel wire spiral reinforcement, bursting pressure of 4~10MPa (4~5 times the working pressure), adapting to the high-pressure requirements of air compressors and pneumatic tools.
Excellent pulse tolerance, can pass ISO1436 standard test (100,000 pressure cycles without leakage).
Environmental adaptability:
Oil resistance (NBR material): resists erosion by lubricating oil and hydraulic oil (volume expansion rate <5%).
Weather resistance (EPDM material): -40℃~+100℃ stable operation, ozone resistance>50pphm.
Abrasion resistance: Anti-wear carbon black is added to the outer layer, and the abrasive wear resistance is 60% higher than that of ordinary rubber.
Safety design:
The surface resistance of the conductive hose is <10⁶Ω, avoiding static electricity accumulation (in line with ATEX explosion-proof standards).
The flame-retardant version is UL94-HB certified, and the self-extinguishing time from fire is <30 seconds.
Economical and practical:
The service life is 3~8 years (depending on the working conditions), and the cost is only 1/3~1/2 of the polyurethane tube.
The bending radius is small (≥3 times the pipe diameter), suitable for complex space wiring.
3. Typical structural design
Structural layer Material and function
Inner rubber layer 2~4mm thick NBR/EPDM rubber, smooth inner wall (Ra≤12μm) reduces airflow resistance and prevents dust accumulation.
Reinforcement layer 2~4 layers of polyester fiber 45° cross-woven (or steel wire spirally wound), tensile strength ≥150N/mm².
Outer rubber layer SBR rubber with anti-UV agent added, wear resistance coefficient (DIN53516) ≤90mm³, suitable for rough outdoor environment.
IV. Main application scenarios
Manufacturing pneumatic system:
Air compressor output pipeline (DN20~DN150, pressure 1.0~1.6MPa).
Automation equipment drive (such as cylinder, pneumatic clamp), pulse frequency ≤2Hz.
Automotive field:
Vehicle brake system test line (pressure resistance 2.5MPa, bursting pressure ≥10MPa).
Tire inflation hose (with quick connector, working pressure 0.8~1.2MPa).
Construction engineering:
Pneumatic pick, pneumatic nail gun power pipe (impact bending resistance, dynamic pressure fluctuation ±0.3MPa).
Air supply for tunnel shotcrete equipment (resistance to crushed stone friction, outer rubber layer thickness ≥ 3mm).
Mining and Energy:
Air supply for underground rock drills (flame retardant, antistatic design, in line with MSHA standards).
Oil and gas field instrument air system (resistance to H₂S corrosion, EPDM material sulfide tolerance concentration > 100ppm).
